After a relatively dry summer season, Desert Ranch and the surrounding North Scottsdale area receive much needed early August rain. Most often the rain storms are short or lacking in intensity and any rainfall quickly soaks into the desert landscape. Though wash flows were not as high as those in 2014, the resulting flash floods still produced an impressive display. Below are some videos and pictures of a wash near Legend Trail Pkwy.
